This page provides manufacturers and distributors with role-specific information for participating in the EAP Residential Heating & Air Conditioning Rebate Program, including program mechanics, guidelines, and enrollment details.

How the Program Works for Manufacturers & Distributors 

  1. Enroll qualifying high-efficiency equipment that qualifies for the current rebate program 
  2. Participate in a defined, seasonal program with established rebate tiers and timelines 
  3. Receive rebate claims from EAP for verification and processing 
  4. Reimburse 50% of the approved rebate amount to participating contractors as account credit 
  5. Honor rebate claims submitted in accordance with program guidelines and timelines

All participating contractors must comply with EAP’s Contractor Program Guidelines, which address: 



  • Contractor eligibility requirements 


  • Eligible systems and equipment 


  • Rebate stacking rules 


  • Claim submission and documentation requirements 


  • Compliance and audit provisions

How to Enroll 

Manufacturers and distributors may participate as either EAP members or nonmembers. 

Supplier Members: included in membership

Non-Member Participation: $1,500/program

Available on a per-program basis. Subject to a program participation fee reflecting additional administrative and operational costs.
