HVAC Rebates

Thank you for your interest in The Electrical Association of Philadelphia’s Heating & Air Conditioning Rebate Program, which can save you up to $1,200!  Rebates are available for residential-sized systems, including homes, apartments, as well as mixed-use commercial properties.  To learn if your system is eligible, check out the available systems by SEER level below and contact one of our participating contractors.

The rebate program runs twice per year, in the spring and fall.  The 2022 Spring Rebate Program was available on systems contracted between February 14 and April 22 and installed by May 13.

Details on the 2022 Fall Program will be available in mid-July.

What Rebates Were Available?

How do I get an EAP rebate?

  • Contract with a participating contractor on a qualifying system from a participating brand between February 14 and April 22.
  • Have your system installed by May 13.
  • The rebate will appear as an instant discount off of your bill. You will not need to submit anything to the manufacturer. Your contract and invoice should clearly note “EAP Rebate” and the rebate amount provided by the contractor.

Why work with a participating contractor?

  • All participating contractors carry a minimum of $500,000 in Liability Insurance, as well as Workers Compensation Insurance (if applicable).
  • All participating contractors have a current Pennsylvania Home Improvement Contractor number (PAHIC#).
  • Only participating contractors can provide the instant EAP rebate.

Can I combine an EAP rebate with other rebates?

This offer is not valid in combination with other manufacturer rebates with the sole exception of PECO Rebates, which can be combined with EAP rebates if system levels meet PECO rebate requirements. Your participating contractor may be able to assist you in applying for PECO rebates.

What brands are available for rebates in the 2022 spring Program?

  • Central A/C and Heat Pumps: Amana, American Standard, Bosch, Bryant, Carrier, Coleman, Lennox, Rheem, Trane, York
  • Mini-Split Ductless Systems: Bryant, Carrier, Daikin, Fujitsu, Lennox, Mitsubishi Electric, Rheem, York

Are there any restrictions?

  • Equipment purchased from Home Improvement or other Retail Stores is also not eligible. All equipment must be purchased through a participating contractor.
  • Rebates will be offered on full heat pump or central air conditioning systems. For heat pump systems, this means that both the outdoor unit and indoor air handler must be replaced. For central air conditioning systems, this means that the outdoor unit, indoor fan-bearing unit or furnace, and coil must be replaced. Add-on coils alone are not eligible for a rebate.
  • Equipment for project quotes and/or new construction quotes are excluded from this offer.
