Thank you for your interest in The Electrical Association of Philadelphia’s Heating & Air Conditioning Rebate Program. This program offers limited-time, instant rebates for residential-sized systems, including homes, apartments, as well as mixed-use commercial properties, when contracting with a participating contractor and selecting a qualifying system.

This program is offered twice per year, in the spring and fall seasons to help customers upgrade to more energy efficient systems. There is no paperwork for you to complete and the rebate amount is deducted from your invoice. It's really that simple!

The 2024 Spring Residential HVAC Rebate Program is now open! Qualifying systems contracted through a participating contractor between February 12 - April 19 may qualify. Learn more below.

  • Contract with a participating contractor on a qualifying system from a participating brand between February 12 and April 19, 2024.
  • Have your system installed by May 10, 2024.
  • The rebate will appear as an instant discount off of your bill. You will not need to submit anything to the manufacturer. Your contract and invoice should clearly note “EAP Rebate” and the rebate amount provided by the contractor.
  • All participating contractors carry and maintain a minimum of $1,000,000 (aggregate) of general liability insurance, and have Workers Compensation Insurance (if applicable).
  • All participating contractors have a current Pennsylvania Home Improvement Contractor number (PAHIC#).
  • Only participating contractors can provide the instant EAP rebate.
This offer is not valid in combination with other manufacturer rebates with the sole exception of local utility rebates such as PECO Rebates. Local utility rebates can be combined with EAP rebates if system levels meet the utility's rebate requirements. Your participating contractor may be able to assist you in applying for PECO rebates.
  • Central A/C and Heat Pumps: Amana, American Standard, Ameristar, Bosch, Bryant, Carrier, Goodman, Guardian, Lennox, Rheem, RunTru, Trane, York
  • Mini-Split Ductless Systems: Bosch, Bryant, Carrier, Daikin, Durastar, Hitachi, Lennox, Mitsubishi, Payne, York
  • Equipment purchased from Home Improvement or other Retail Stores is also not eligible. All equipment must be purchased through a participating contractor.
  • Rebates will be offered on full heat pump or central air conditioning systems. For heat pump systems, this means that both the outdoor unit and indoor air handler must be replaced. For central air conditioning systems, this means that the outdoor unit, indoor fan-bearing unit or furnace, and coil must be replaced. Add-on coils alone are not eligible for a rebate. For mini split heat pump systems, this means that the outdoor unit and indoor unit(s) must be replaced.
  • Equipment for project quotes and/or new construction quotes are excluded from this offer.
